ABOUT YE OLDE GERMAN TRANSLATORHi folks, I am Carsten, 29 years old, owner of SV Birlinghoven which exists in real life as well, that's where I played when I was young. Very young. As our ground was made of ash (and not of grass), I was getting better and better at constructing Sandcastles - unfortunately not in Playmaking or Passing. So after a while, I quit playing there - but in my heart, it is THE club.
I am a student of computer science and currently writing my diploma, so my free time is a bit scarce. But as I enjoy making logos (for hattrick teams (mostly free, but only when I have time), and in real life (mostly charged, and when there is an offer)), I searched around for other logomakers a while ago.
That's when I found cartoonutd.org, back then with only the Norwegian translation (if i remember correctly). I found it hilarious and interesting, and after I read all the pages that were on back then, I decided to contact Hans and offer to translate it into german.
Which (I hope) is bringing joy to a big group of hattrick-fanatics in the DACH-world (Germany, Austria, Swiss, and all the little appendices there *G*).
When I'm not busy translating or creating logos for hattrick, I like to hang around with friends, play a good session of poker or strategic computer games like Heroes of Might and Magic, or roleplay in a group (Dungeons and Dragons), or play guitar in a soon-to-be band (watch out for "Six Strings A Head" *smile*). No, I'm not a geek. I'm not wearing glasses, and I have a girlfriend. Thank you. :)
